πŸš€ How to use the Remove Punctuation Marks tool?

Step 1

πŸ“‹ Paste Your Text Content

The first text area marked with ✍🏻 Text Input is where you should paste your text that you want the punctuation marks to be removed.

Take a look at this example, it has a lot of punctuation marks. Try clicking the yellow copy button at the top right corner of it and paste it on the first input field.

For example:

"Waitβ€”what?! Are you serious... or just joking?"

"Well, either way, let's go: grab your bags, shoes, hats, and keys."

"Oh! And don't forgetβ€”your phone, wallet, and charger!"

Step 2

πŸš€ Submit It

The next step is to click the Submit for the cleanup to start. There result will be displayed beside your original text; it is another text area marked with πŸ“‘ Text Without Special Characters. Since they are placed side by side, comparing the result from the original text is a lot easier.

If you clicked on the πŸ“‹ Copy button and pasted it on the ✍🏻 Text Input field, you'll notice on the output field that the punctuation marks are gone. That's how this tool works.

Step 3

πŸ” Explore Inclusions

By default, every punctuation mark in your original text will be removed. However, if you have specific punctuation marks that you don't want to be removed, just add them in the text field marked with βš™οΈ Include Specific Characters.

If you want to include period/dot (.) or comma (,), you can individually insert them by typing the punctuation mark first and press the Enter key on your keyboard or Return key if you are on mobile.

You'll notice that every time you add a punctuation mark to be included, it will be displayed below the text field. If you want to remove any, just click on the close icon that is located next to it.

Step 4

πŸ› οΈ Copy and Clear

After you reviewed the output, you can copy them by clicking on the copy button. If you want to do more tasks like this, just click on the Clear button to reset the text areas.

βš™οΈ Form Components

✍🏻 Text Input

This is the only part of the form where you can enter your text content. It strictly accepts only text-based content.

πŸ“‘ Text Without Punctuation Marks

This is where the output is displayed, the text without punctuation marks. It is strategically placed beside the original so you can compare easily.

βš™οΈ Include Specific Characters

If there are punctuation marks that you don't want to be included in the removal, just place them individually on this text field and press Enter.
