Text Cleaner
The Text Cleaner aims to help you clean-up your texts in a way that it gets rid of unwanted characters in your text content. The text content could be a plain paragraph, a short snippet, a post or even whole article. The default options are applied but make sure to tweak it under settings.
How to use the Text Cleaner?

📋 Paste Your Text Content
The textarea labeled with ✍🏻 Input field is the only part of the tool where you can enter your text content. In most cases, you would just copy your text you want to be cleaned up and paste it on this field.
🚀 Submit It
That's why you might not need to read this instruction because the tool is direct to the point, after pasting your text, just click on the yellow button marked with Submit and you're all good.
🛠️ Customize It
By the way, saying that you can just copy, paste and submit then you'll get your desired cleaned text is totally overrated. You'll probably have to adjust something, that's where you can use the customization options currently available.
You can turn off cleaning functions that you don't need (button will turn gray) and turn on the one's you need to preserve (marked by blue).
Say you don't want to remove numbers, you can turn off the 123 Remove Numbers option.
Customization Options
Aside from the textarea labeled with ✍🏻 Input where you can enter or paste your text content and the Submit button, there are plenty of customization options you can play with. Turn them on and off however you want to achieve your desired cleaned up text content.
Remove Numbers
Numerals from 0 to 9, or any combination of numbers will be removed in the text. Even though it is chained with pure texts. Example, 123Go. 123 will be removed and what's left is Go.
Remove Emoji
Emojis brings forth some vibes in a text content but if ever you want to remove them, enable this feature and they will be gone. Example, I like to eat 🍍 pineapple. When you paste this in the tool, the emoji will be gone.
Remove Line Breaks
Line breaks provides breathing rooms for your readers in between your paragraphs or sentences. Enable this feature and all line breaks will be gone and you'll end up with all texts content separated with just spaces.
Remove Extra Space
Sometimes when we are typing, its common to unintentionally press that space bar twice or thrice specially when editing previous words. Enable this option and reduce these space to only one.
Remove Leading Space
Before the very first letter in your article or paragraph, there's this one or two spaces before the actual openning word. If you want to remove this space, turn on this option.
Remove Trailing Space
In most cases, the end of your text content seems like has a lot of extra space after the period. Sometimes it's new lines, or multiple spaces, tabs and if you want to clean that up, this feature handles it.
Remove Special Characters
Special characters seems like a vague set of non-alphanumeric symbols but we'll simply remove common one's here like punctuation marks and symbols. We'll insert additional feature that let's you enter specific characater removal.
Remove Punctuation Marks
When this option is turned on, any comma, period, question, exclamation or any punctuation mark will be removed from the text content.
Remove Redundant Punctuation Marks
Double period and double comma is one of the typing errors we can make. If this is not intentional, this feature allows you to remove these duplicate punctuation marks.
Remove Duplicate Words
I think when you are typing a lot of original content or editing some write ups, one common mistake is a duplicate words like this this. This featured turned on will reduce this into just one word.
Remove Duplicate Lines
Duplicate lines means that the same paragraph or sentence or even just a short text is repeated on the next line. This is due to copying and pasting same text twice or more. This option will reduce them into just a sigle line.
Remove HTML Tags
Say you are copying text content that includes <div>, <span> etc. which are called HTML tags. This feature will remove these tags completely. What remains is the content inside the opening and closing of these tags.
Remove Markdown Tags
Markdown is another markup language that has it's own syntax and if you are cleaning up content but it's in markdown format, this feature will help you out.
Remove Diacritics
Diacritics are special marks written above or below a letter in a word that emphasizes its pronunciation. For example, é in "café", naïve or façade. This option when turned on will remove these marks.
